Hi all, just looking for sone help on a project,

If people within the rebellion can look into it's history and write up some reports from an IC perspective that would be a fantastic help, the subjects would be.

- notable people within the rebellion
- famous rebel battle victories
- iconic rebel gear ( weapons/ starships/ etc)
- notable planets
- rebel combat tactics
- Rebel branches
- Rebel troop types

All of these would be up to 1.5 aby

A long paragraph or two short ones for each report would be great!

Thought I'd give some people a chance to do some creative writing!

The Basics
Organisations that formed the Rebel Alliance:
■Delegation of 2000
■Corellian Resistance
■Alderaanian Resistance
■Mon Calamari Resistance
■Chandrilan resistance
■Atrivis Resistance Group
■Duros resistance
■Separatist holdouts
■Kota's Militia
■Jedi Order (Remnants of)

The Alliance to Restore the Republic (also known as the Alliance to Restore Freedom to the Galaxy, the Rebel Alliance and, informally, as the Rebellion), was a loose alliance of planetary-, system-, and sector-level forces formed in direct military opposition to the Galactic Empire. It was originally formed by a group of Loyalists, united by Galen Marek, determined to preserve the ideals of the Galactic Republic. The Corellian Treaty and the Declaration of Rebellion formally organized the Alliance, and the crest of the Marek family stood as the symbol of the Alliance after his act of redemption on the Death Star. The Alliance and the Galactic Empire engaged in open warfare in a conflict known as the Galactic Civil War, which the Rebellion fighting to restore liberty to the galaxy.

Although it had fewer troops and resources when compared to the Imperial Military, the Alliance possessed a strong will to fight, dedicated and equally trained soldiers, and brilliant commanders. The Alliance found its first major victory at Toprawa, and would later deal a massive blow to the Empire at the Battle of Yavin.

Delegation of 2000
The Delegation of 2000 was the name assigned to the group of Loyalist Committee Senators and other political figures who created (and presented) the Petition of 2000 to Supreme Chancellor Palpatine near the end of the Clone Wars. The Delegates were concerned about the Chancellor's continued usage of emergency powers even as the Clone Wars were nearing their end—especially the formation of the new office of moff. Many of the Delegates (rightly) feared for the future of democracy in the Republic.

Corellian Resistance
The Corellian Resistance was an Imperial resistance movement, led by Garm Bel Iblis on Corellia during the early years of the New Order. It later became one of the founding members of the Alliance to Restore the Republic.

Alderaanian Resistance
The Alderaanian Resistance was an anti-Imperial resistance movement, led by Bail Organa on Alderaan during the early years of the New Order. It later became one of the founding members of the Alliance to Restore the Republic

Mon Calamari Resistance
"We forced the Empire off our world once. They fought with blasters and fighters, destroying cities at will. We fought with whatever we had – kitchen utensils, industrial tools, our bare hands. We won that time."
―Ackbar

The Mon Calamari Resistance was an anti-Imperial resistance movement, led by Ackbar and key members of the Mon Calamari Council on Mon Calamari during the early years of the New Order. It later became one of the key members of the Alliance to Restore the Republic.

Chandrilan Resistance
The Chandrilan resistance was an Imperial resistance movement, led by Mon Mothma on Chandrila during the early years of the New Order. It later became one of the founding members of the Alliance to Restore the Republic.

Atrivis Resistance Group
The Atrivis Resistance Group was the alliance between Fest and Mantooine to rebel against the Galactic Empire. It predated the creation of the Rebel Alliance, but shortly after the formation of the latter, Mon Mothma convinced the Atrivis Resistance Group to merge into the Rebellion.

Duros Resistance
The Duros resistance was an Imperial resistance movement, led by Jenssar SoBilles on Duro during the early years of the New Order. It later became part of the Alliance to Restore the Republic.

Separatist Holdouts
The Separatist holdouts consisted of various disparate fragments of the Confederacy of Independent Systems that remained active after the execution of the Separatist leadership, trying to preserve their New Order. The Galactic Empire used the existence of such holdouts as one of several excuses to continue production of various warships for the Imperial Navy.

The holdouts consisted of various independent worlds and systems mostly in the Outer Rim Territories. Some notable locations were the planets Mustafar and Enarc.

Kota's Militia
Rahm Kota's militia was his backing force during his scattered battles against the Galactic Empire.

The militia was clad in armor similar to the Alliance Special Forces of later times. They consisted of soldiers with blaster rifles, vibroblades and rocket launchers. Furthermore, they had the capacity to obtain several war machines such as the new MAAT gunships introduced at the time. The militia also used hundreds of Y-wing starfighters during space operations, such as their attack on the TIE Fighter Construction Facility. Many of the weapons and vehicles they used were bought from criminal organizations, such as Lok Revenants.

Jedi Order (Remnants of)
The Jedi Order, later known as the Old Jedi Order and referred to as the Holy Order of the Jedi Knights, was an ancient monastic peacekeeping organization unified by its belief and observance of the Force, specifically the light side.

By this time in Galactic History, the New Order had ransacked and murdered thousands of Jedi's, making them near existinct. The few that survived "Order 66" would be in hiding for years until the New Republic era but by then, the originals had been shot, killed or died of old age (Eg. Yoda on Dagobah). Some of the Jedi's helped certain areas of the Rebel Alliance during the Imperial era.
